The Beach

Our hearts are not bound
By the confines of this earth,
As our souls cascade together
Through a time as endless as the ocean.
You shimer in the rising sun,
Your eyes as dark as the ocean depths,
Your spirit as clear as this crystal water.
On this beach I see infinity
As life comes into view,
And in your eyes I see the future.
This immortal love has bound us
It will take us through!
So as the sun sets on this passing day
I breath a sigh of reflection.
Holding you in my arms,
I wait again for the sun's warm renew.
