Justification
Laid gently down
Placed with many
Smiling faces
Diagnosed with insomnia
No longer
Easily fixed, cleaned up
For their sake
Angel eyes painted on
Concealing a life of torment
Cliché sayings given by many voices
“I cared, was there just never asked”
True but how could you hear
The person you silenced when
You possess no ears
Coward, thoughts of weakness
So long stuck it through
Lived with and without
Just no one knew
Replay what I was
In your eyes
Those distant days
Fond happy memories
Fade harsh recollections
Ones you don’t want
Chose not to remember
Lump in my throat
Burning eyes that can’t
Shed water no longer
Life is unimportant
Matters not to me now
For things are complete
Will lie at peace
Made it all better
The pain has gone away
All because I had courage
Feared not the actions
To take my life
In my own hands
