I sat and watched as snow fell softly
on that winters night.
wondering what was wrong with my life.
My husband,My children,My dog
and much more.
I look to the stars to see
where was my joy.
No answer did I find but one
twinkling star.
To remind me of how special I am,
Like the snow that fell softly this winters night.

In the streetlights
As if to a merry tune.

and it occured to me
that the snow that fell
was just like me
light in appearance
cold to the touch
many different forms

you came along one terribly cold year.
i stood and started to run... my heart fillng with fear.
i feel and landed awfully hard pain keeping me bound to the ground.
you came as fast as possible and asked for my hand but i turned away my heart to frozen to be warm
but you touch was so shockingly warm
for my heart began to thaw and my skin began to hold a normal color no longer white.
you kiss was so sweet tart but yet i loved the taste
your love was what i loved the most for i sat on those frozen step daily waiting for you to warm me up.
but one day you didn't show
and that day it thickly bagan to snow.
i froze again word blew across me like the artic wind
rumo had it you would never return
i hated my self for falling in love
i froze again but when the moon cast a shadow near by
i look up and begin to cry wishing it was you standing near by

there's something about winter
it has it's own splendid grace
in my heart fond memories of angels

all you have done,
all you ever will do,
the bruises on my body,

no longer can i say i have a family,
a family is ment to love each other,
not abuse and controll,
